Founded in 1991,
the Long River Studio functions as an artists' cooperative and is operated
by three partners on a non-profit basis. This fascinating little gift
shop, located in historic Lyme, New Hampshire, provides 70 to 80 talented
local artists a means of displaying their original, creative works.
With
arts and crafts as the primary thrust, there are all sorts of art forms
to be found ranging from oils, water colors, and collage, to ceramics
and pottery. Discover delightful woodwork pieces and carvings to colorful
hanging mobile creatures. And there is also a wealth of fabric and stitched
items along with jewelry, glass ware, and much more!
No
matter the occasion, there is some thing to be found, to give or to keep,
that will provide pleasure for time to come. The only challenge to arise
